Venue Applications

Venues are required to apply, or be nominated, for membership of our Contemporary Art Promotion Programme and we would only accept your application, or nomination, if we feel that your particular venue is suitable and, importantly, could benefit from taking part in the programme.

We regret that, at the present time, we are unable to accept applications from Venues located outside the UK.

The Benefits

If your application is accepted, you would benefit from the publicity & interest generated by the exhibitions arranged at your venue and, more specifically, the Preview Party. The Preview Party can be arranged to coincide with a quiet period in your calendar, generating activity when you need it most. This event could raise your profile & increase market awareness for your business. You would receive one Preview Party per exhibition and we would normally organise two exhibitions in each membership year. All for FREE!

Ovenden Contemporary handles the promotion & marketing of the event but any contribution from you would only increase the benefits of the publicity.

Potential Income From Sales

In addition to the benefits already mentioned, you would also earn a commission on all original art sales that take place during exhibitions held at your venue. This commission rate increases with each membership renewal as a ‘loyalty bonus’, up to a maximum commission.

On-line 'What's On' Listings

We also have an extensive on-line 'What's On' listings section on our web-site that provides a great deal of information about each exhibition, the Artists involved and the host venue. We can provide a link to your own web-site, if you have one, together with your contact details. This is included for FREE, as part of our Venue Membership scheme.
